Ambiance. Our award-winning spa is situated in San Diego Historical Site No. 129, the Sherman Judson House, an 1887 Queen Ann Victorian home renovated in 2006 to restore its past grandeur.
Results. As a results-oriented spa, we use our own exclusive, top-of-the-line skincare to give you a dramatically enhanced complexion. Formulated by Melanie Vasseur, a cosmetic chemist, esthetician, nutritionist and leading skin care expert with over 35 years industry experience, Vasseur Skincare is freshly made, highly potent and all-natural formulated with the highest concentration of active ingredients and absolutely no synthetics, toxins, parabens or chemical preservatives. We also offer the most cutting-edge anti-aging treatments on the market ranging from the Age Reversal Laser to the Sciton Micro Laser peel.

About Melanie Vasseur
Melanie Vasseur, a Nutritional Cosmetic Chemist and Medical Esthetician, is a leading authority on the science of skin care and has appeared on television and radio shows worldwide. A featured speaker at national trade shows such as the International Esthetics Cosmetics and Spa Conference, Melanie is also regular a columnist for Dermascope, American Spa, Spa Management, Skin Deep, and other top beauty publications. She continues to contribute to the spa and skin care field as a faculty member teaching advanced skin care education to doctors, estheticians, cosmetologists, and nurses.
Melanie dealt with stubborn acne and suffered from emotional scars since age 11. She unsuccessfully tried conventional oral and topical medications prescribed by dermatologists. Regular facials helped her temporarily. At 27, the blemishes reappeared and although skin care science had advanced, Retin A and antibiotics had irritating effects and her skin spots remained.
Melanie became frustrated by traditional approaches and was determined to clear her acne for good. A nutrition educator at the time, she began to create her own all-natural, science-based skin care treatments. Within a short period of time, her skin showed remarkable improvements, so much so that her students wanted to know her secret – and try whatever she was using! It marked the beginning of Vasseur Skincare and now 35 years later, Melanie’s exclusive, freshly made and toxin-free products have produced amazing results for thousands of devoted users!
